AC Milan are ready to make a big bid to sign Moroccan attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea in January.
Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reports that AC Milan are planning to negotiate with Chelsea over Ziyech when the transfer window reopens in January next year. By seeing that it is the most appropriate time Milan have had a long-standing eye on Ziyech and interest in the 29-year-old last summer was solid, but AC Milan have kept their eyes on the Moroccan midfielder.
In an awkward situation with Chelsea in the 2022-23 season, Ziyech has only played 148 minutes of his five Premier League games under Thomas Tuchel and Graeme Potter believes the former Ajax Amsterdam midfielder is unlikely to have a future at Stamford Bridge. The report states that Milan believe Ziyech’s asking price is unlikely to reach €20m when the winter transfer window arrives in the next two months ufabet. Which is not a problem to grab. But there is a small drawback: wages that are around 6 million euros per year.
Manager Stefano Pioli has not been impress but is say to be keen on Ziyech. It remains to be seen whether a deal can be done.
But the man with 42 international caps to his name needs to be playing. Other clubs may enter the picture after the World Cup.
